Biography

Please note: Dr. Mazer is not taking any summer students.

My academic interests relate to cardiovascular disease and include cardiac anesthesia and critical care. My research program focuses on perioperative blood conservation, cardiac physiology and metabolism and perioperative organ protection. I am actively engaged in translational research as an investigator in both pre-clinical and clinical studies in these areas.
