The Research Pharmacy is involved in all clinical drug trials conducted by qualified investigators for patients of St. Michael’s hospital. The pharmacy’s services include::

• Technical Protocol review
• Control procurement, storage, dispensation and accountability of all study medications
• Blinding and control of study medications
• On-site sterile drug preparation and
• Consultation meetings with investigators, study monitors and auditors regarding various study issues.
